DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP

Adult Choir and Chamber Singers:

Campbell’s Adult Choir is a group of over 30 vocalists who rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in the CUMC sanctuary under the leadership of the Director of Worship.  The Adult Choir presents two or more major worship events each year, including the Advent Musical Celebration concert held on a Saturday evening in December and a Lenten Musical typically held in the spring, The Chamber Singers small vocal ensemble rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:15pm in the sanctuary.

Worship Band:

Campbell’s Worship Band is made up of a great group of volunteers who lead worship at the Sunday 9:30 a.m. service along with the Worship Director. 

 

This group practices weekly, most often on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., and serves in our greater community by singing and playing at revivals, fundraisers, charity benefits, and other outreach events such as opening at the Andy Williams Theater in Branson, MO. 

Children's Choir:

This group meets on Wednesday evenings to rehearse between September and May from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in our education building.  This group is featured every 4-6 weeks in Campbell’s worship services and participates regularly in seasonal concerts.  Their early December Christmas musicals have been a treasured highlight in the life of the church!

CampBell Ringers:

The CampBell Ringers are our Bell Choir made up of over 10 musical volunteers who meet weekly on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 221 throughout most of the year with seasonal breaks.  Audra Harmon directs this ensemble, which is featured every 4-6 weeks in Campbell’s worship services and participates in seasonal concerts as well as community outreach events, such as ringing at local assisted living centers.

Seasonal and Short-Term Musical Groups:

Campbell offers several opportunities for worship soloists, small musical and vocal ensembles, and seasonal instrumental groups, in addition to guest artists and featured special music events!  Contact the Director of Worship if you have interest!

Worship Preparation Committee:

Campbell’s Worship Preparation Committee is made up volunteers who prepare monthly communion for worship services and who decorate the church for seasonal events such as Advent, Christmas, and Easter.  If you have a heart for worship or a decorative eye and would consider working with this fine team, please contact the Director of Worship!
